Boca Raton Businessman Jay Whelchel Endorses Robert Weinroth for Congress

Boca Raton, FL– Boca Raton businessman and co-founder of Cove Brewery Jay Whelchel has announced his endorsement of Robert Weinroth for Florida’s 23^rd Congressional District against Democrat Jared Moskowitz.

“Businesses prosper when we have government leaders with real-world experience and a desire to help others. This is exactly what we’ve witnessed with Robert Weinroth,” said Jay Whelchel. “His business experience and dedication to the community he represented on the Boca Raton City Council and later at the Palm Beach County Commission is the reason Boca Raton has thrived. I know that Robert’s leadership in the U.S. Congress is exactly what our country needs to fix the mess in Washington.”

About Jay Whelchel:

Jay Whelchel is the son of former Boca Raton Mayor Susan Whelchel, the Principal and Founder of Whelchel Partners Real Estate Services, and co-owner of Cove Brewery. Jay has been a long-time resident of the City of Boca Raton since 1978 and graduated with an Engineering degree from Florida State University. As a licensed real estate salesperson and Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), Jay has sold and leased over 2,000,000 million square feet worth $350 million dollars of commercial real estate mostly located in South Florida.

Jay is a community leader serving on the South County Advisory Board for Palm Beach County’s Community Foundation. He has participated on various other boards and committees to support groups such as the Executive Board of the Boca Raton Historical Society, the Advisory Board of Stonegate Bank, the George Snow Scholarship Foundation, Spirit of Giving Foundation, and the American Heart Association.

Jay is a member of Grace Community Church and currently lives in East Boca Raton with wife Melissa, and children Jack and Vivian.

Robert Weinroth is a more than 30-year resident of South Florida where he has served as an executive and general counsel in the insurance, finance, and healthcare industries. Robert is also the former Mayor of Palm Beach County and served on the Boca Raton City Council. Robert and his wife, Pamela, live in Boca Raton.
