Dick Schmidt Endorses Robert Weinroth for Congress

Boca Raton, FL– Boca Raton businessman and philanthropist, Dick Schmidt, has announced his endorsement of Robert Weinroth for Florida’s 23rd Congressional District against Democrat Jared Moskowitz.

“Robert has been a proven leader in the community for decades,” said Schmidt. “He knows how to work with everyone to find solutions and improve people’s lives. We need more leaders who will get things done in Congress for the people, and that’s why I’m supporting Robert Weinroth!”

Weinroth responded: “Dick Schmidt has been a pillar of Boca Raton, and we owe so much to him and his family for what they have given to our community. It’s an honor to have his support.”

About Dick Schmidt:

A resident of Boca Raton since 1968, Schmidt has played an integral part in the growth and development of Boca Raton, and his activities are evident throughout the community. He has served as President of the Board of Directors of the Boca Raton Community Hospital, was the founder and managing partner of Schmidt, Raines, Trieste, Dickenson, Adams, and Company, Certified Public Accountants, Chartered, where he led the company to become the area’s largest accounting firm. Since his retirement in 1988, he has redirected his involvement to include real estate, the Schmidt Family Foundation, and most recently- aviation.

Robert Weinroth is a more than 30-year resident of South Florida where he has served as an executive and general counsel in the insurance, finance, and healthcare industries. Robert is also the former Mayor of Palm Beach County and served on the Boca Raton City Council. Robert and his wife, Pamela, live in Boca Raton. Robert is a Republican running for the Florida 23rd Congressional District, currently held by Democrat Jared Moskowitz.
